Description:
This is a partially completed program in Borland Delphi 5. You are bidding on either completing the project in Delphi, or re-building the project in Visual Basic. Visual basic coders should also be able to understand Delphi projects and gather information on the existing program's structure from the enclosed project.
The program must allow multiple users to make changes to the data across the network. It must be useable without any software other than the operating system and database. The database is currently using MS Access, but others may be used provided we are consulted first.
Bids should include both a monetary cost and a time estimate.
Code must be well-documented and readable.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Must run on a mixed network of Win2k pro and Win9x.
Ask us if you want to use a database other than Access, or if your program may depend on additional software that we must purchase. We must approve any such dependency otherwise the program may be useless to us.
