Description:
This program will be used to keep track of employees and the hours they work. This is important for payroll info, and employee accountability.
We also want to require employees to read memos from management when they clock in. By combining these functions into the same software we can account for employee hours and ensure that all employees read their instructions for the day, regardless of which shift they work.
Attached is a MS Word document describing more details of the project. This will be used on a lan, where employees may clock in on one of several workstations. There will be an administrator login which does not handle time for an employee but allows editing of employee records. There will be employees designated as supervisors who have additional priveleges regarding sending memos (memos from supervisors and administrator are required reading before clocking in).
This may be done using Borland Delphi, or Builder, or Microsoft C++ or VB (.net). C++ preferred over VB which is preferred over Delphi.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
This may be done using Borland Delphi, or Builder, or Microsoft C++ or VB (.net). C++ preferred over VB which is preferred over Delphi.
The software will run on a network of Win9x and 2000pro. Type of database must be approved by us prior to work being done.
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Jan 1, 2003 EDT

Hi, We can complete the task for you as per your specifications. I have a suggestions: If you have Webserver running in your network - Web Based(intranet based) solution is best for this. to track machine thru webserver - but can get machine IP address as each machine in network will have unique IP. We can develop this in VB as a Client-Server app. There can be many additions to this app - 1. Can include Barcode Attendence System or 2. Can include whole time sheet(what employee is doing at particular time). Anyway these are only suggestions, the bid is for the specifications you provided. We are available on MSN, Yahoo, and AOl if you want to discuss more.. Regards
