Description:
Create a standalone JAVA GUI with .awt that implements a drawing program with the following features: I.Create a Frame with a BorderLayout and title "Drawing". In the frame, you will have A) A canvas for drawing (Center), this should be separate class subclassed from Canvas. Its background color is black and foreground color is white. B) A panel using GridLayout with 3 rows and 2 columns (North). Background color gray. 1. This panel contains 4 buttons. 2. Button 1 is labeled "Square". 3. Button 2 is labeled "Rectangle". 4. Button 3 is labeled "Circle". 5. Button 4 is labeled "Oval". 6. Button 5 is labeled "Line". 7. Button 6 is labeled "Close 8. Each button has a red background with yellow text. C) Pressing each button (1-5) will cause the appropriate item to be selected for drawing. Button 6 should cause the application to exit. D) A Label (South) to provide feedback to the user. This should display the selected mode. E) Once the mode is selected, the user should be able to draw the selected item in the Canvas. The shape of the drawing has to be seen while it is being used. F) You have to handle ActionEvents for the buttons to select the mode and MouseEvents for the canvas to handle the drawing ie implement the appropriate listener. Make sure that you handle all events using the Java1.1 event model with Listeners and Adapters. II. Change from a standalone application into an Applet. NOTE: You need to provide the following: Class design Method definitions General operational flow of methods (as flow chart) Class implementation Code documentation (with javadoc)
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Unix system. Java 2 Platform, windows, Internet Explorer, Netscape for the applet.
