Description:
Instructions:
Make HTML and JavaServer Pages containing JDBC to update and query a table.
Data Definition:
Apply the update and query actions to a table that meets the specifications of lab 1(see below). Include table columns for integer (whole number), character, date, and decimal items. Specify a primary key. The table should be populated with at least 15 rows of authentic data.
Data Manipulation:
Include code for the following operations:
0. Login form to enter username and password;
1. Insert: a new row into the table;
2. Delete: delete one row;
3. Update: replace a single attribute value for one row;
4. Query: Display the current table contents in primary key order.
Use HTML table format.
Notes:
1. Lab computers have Apache Tomcat installed for testing your page, or you can download a freeware copy of Tomcat from the Jakarta site.
I have all of the code for the functions, they will need to be modified slightly according to my database table. My database table is called "States", and the fields in the table are ID, State, Sq_Miles, Date_Admit.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
