Take all tracks from a music CD and combine (mix) those tracks with a separate wav file to reproduce the original music CD with the added subliminal messages. Automate as much as possible. Final working scenario: 1) Program starts & asks the user to place the music CD in the drive. 2) The program converts all CDA files to WAV files, creates a directory on the hard drive and places the WAV files there. 3) Then a two track mixer comes up on the screen asking the user to select a track from (C:\hard coded directory) which is placed into track one. Track two already has the subliminal WAV file loaded. Instructions for the user are available to get the right mix (mix track two to +2 db, to have track two just inaudible). User clicks the record button to mix the two tracks together onto a new WAV file. [Of course the more the program can automate the better! Maybe the program could act like a “merge file”?] 4) Repeat step number three above until all tracks are mixed and completed in (C:\hard coded directory 2). Program needs to do the following: 1) Tracks on a music CD are in *.CDA format. They will need to be converted to *.wav file format and stored on the hard drive. There are existing utilities for this now - http://www.smart-projects.net/isobuster/ 2) A two track mixer will be used to mix the music track with the voice track. The program already has the voice track loaded on track two. If predetermined levels could be set for both tracks it would be much better. Also once the user selects track one and hits the record button it would be better if the program could then grab the next track and record, then the next track and record and so on. This can be done manually if too difficult. 3) The last step is for the user to burn a new CD with the new WAV files but this can be done outside the scope of this program. They can use the software that came with their CDR to make the final CD. Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
