Description:
Internet Programming - 2002/3 Coursework Option A You have been commissioned to produce a small prototype web based messaging system for your client. This system is to be used as a universal announcements board throughout the clients company and is to be implemented using a mysql database accessed through php web pages. Existing users should have to log onto the messaging system and new users would be required to register onto the system. After logging in the user should be presented with a list of headings to messages placed on the announcements board during the previous day. This list should be links which when clicked display the message associated with the link. The user should also be allowed to compose a message with a heading and submit it to the message board. The system as implemented has on or more administrators who are responsible for deleting messages. An administrator should log on giving a different username and password from their own standard username.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
To complete this coursework for a grade C: You should design and program the following web pages: • A user login page. • A user registration page. • A user message display page. • A user message creation and submission page. • An administrator login page. • A page to allow any existing administrator to create a new administration account and password. • An administration page allowing for the removal of messages. For a grade B You should extend this to include Incorporating search criteria in the user display page to allow any user to optionally search for messages using various search criteria • Messages placed in the previous week. • Messages placed on a particular day in the past. • Messages placed on a particular range of days. • Messages placed with a particular set of keywords in the heading. • Allow an administrator to delete messages based upon some selection criteria.

I need the work to look as though I've done it. It's only a small module on my course and I can supply all the lecture notes etc that we have been given if required.
