Description:
We would like a Internet Browser OR Tool Bar that works with IE that will pick up and extract all domains it comes across in its window and then check them to see if any of the domains are expired. The software will extract domain names that appear on every page that you browse, and then automatically check to see if any are available for registration in the background. This needs to happen in a small side bar to you can see the names being extracted in one box and counting how many unique domains it extracts and then another box that lists all the expired names it finds. Maybe a check box option that allowes it to extract only hyperlinks or domains and hyperlinks. The names that are found then need to be somehow set up to do a search in the top 8 or so search engines to check if they are listed there and also possibly a number or links that poing to that domain name as well. Theres needs to be a full version that will check an unlimited number of domains and a demo version that will only check 100 domains befor it needs to be reset or some kind of a nag screen. I can provide you with a sample of a similar browser that does close to what we want if you need. We also want to be able to easily rebrand this browser depending on which of our sites we are selling or giving it away on. Any added ideas you may have as well..
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
4) Needs to be easily rebrandable, with instructions for us to do so.
5) We have many projects coming up so do a great job here and earn ALOT more work from us.

Bid From Gunjan Karun | Hi, I specialize in developing applications using ASP/PHP/CGI-Perl/Visual Basic as the front end and Text File/XML/MS Access/SQL Server as the database. I have extensive exposure to working with the IE and client side scripting technologies and related applications.
Here is how I can add value to your project. 1. I can provide
you a clone of YahTool or Ultimate Domain Browser etc, these are commercial
utilities that works exactly like your
requirement.
2. Since the software would NOT maintain a whois information, it
would query in REAL TIME and parse the expiry date and related information.
Hence you'll always get the latest status of domain names.
3. You would have the feature to use proxies for querying the
internet to be used by this
software
4. Using this software you'd be able to maintain a list of about to
expire domain names too, i.e. domain names that are about to expire in
couple days/weeks/months time.
5. You would also have feature to schedule your queries
6. You would be able to modify the list of top 10 search engines.
Since I would be using a rule based parsing engine for your application,
it would be very easy for us to increase the list of search engines
to query or to provide update files to the customers whenever the page
layout of the search engines are modified.
7. We can also work out some sort of registration process where
the software would be a trialware with nag screens/limitations and after
registration it will be a full featured software.
8. The coding would be as per industry standards and would be heavily
commented. Hence if you go through the source, you'll figure out very
easily what is being done and why.
Hope to hear from you soon Regards Gunjan Karun | Bid Summary | Duration | Fifteen
