On form_load both treeviews would be built with the same data from test01.xml (see attached file). The Name (ie. msg001) would be a node and the Value (This is test string number one.) would be a child of the msg001 node. I would like some way of keeping track of the maxXdim and maxYdim values also. So if I click on treeview1 on the left I would like to see the maxXdim displayed in a label and the maxYdim displayed in another label and the Name in another label and the value (actual string) in a forth label. Well commented code is required as I need to learn from this example. Additionally I would like the node to change colors when it is selected. So if I click on msg001 it would change from black to blue. Also when I click on a node in the treeview1 on the left the cursor (focus) is put in the second treeview2 (on the same node as the one selected in treeview1). If possible I would like the treeview2 to be in edit mode when focus is put on it (so I can change the text string). I would like a command button (save button) that when clicked would save the data in treeview2 to an xml file on disk formated like test01.xml. Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. Platform: This would be on win2000 or xp if that matters.
