It needs to work as follows..... Visitor clicks on opion UPLOAD PICTURE. They are then allowed to browse their local PC and select a jpeg. They will be given the option to PREVIEW the image before they upload to ensure it is the right image. There will be a restriction on image file size which must be checked. The web page will already hold their ID as a hidden field or an ASP variable. The image will be uploaded to the server, to a predetermined location and renamed according to their ID, for example image-1234567.jpg. The name of the image must be available at this point to ASP for updating the client database. The display of the image on the web site will be done by us. ............ The requirement is for the local browse and preview facilities, a secure upload without revealing any ftp passwords or usernames or compromiseing the server in any way and renaming and saving. ............ Another way that we would consider would be to receive the image as an email attachment but we would need a way of automatically extracting user information and the image from the email - Please note Server is LINUX and APACHE, Scripting languages available are java, html and asp. Database is mySQL. Must be simple, fast and secure Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. All the points in your bid-request are OK but the problem is at 'Preview before upload'..... This issue needs to be investigated and therefor we are not bidding now.... You can run the file 'test.asp'. Two buttons 'Upload' and 'Preview' have been provided. 'Preview' will immediately show the file after the file has been selected. 'Upload' will upload the file in sub-directory 'T001' of the directory in which test.asp is loaded. Please note that you will have to pre-create this 'T001' sub-directory in order to run it. The name of the file will be same as the file that was selected by the user from his client machine. 'clsupload.asp' is the standard 'uploading class for ASP'. We have tested it on IIS, We need to confirm that it is able to run on Apache as well, therefore, we are sending these two files. In case you need any clarifications, please feel free to contact us.
