Description:
I need a custom chat application that does not require any server/client software. I need unlimited public/private rooms, some public rooms need to be open 24/7 even if no one is in them. Users should also be able to create public/private rooms. There needs to be buddy lists for users and instant messages. There also needs to be a dice roller implemented, which rolls a random number and then shows the results to the entire room. The admin functions should include: allow main admin to asign multiple other admins to help with functions, admins create and delete users, and also all messages, whether in a chat room or instant message needs to be logged for verifcation purposes. For further info on the exact specs of the dice roller, I can send info when requested.

Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Platform:
These needs to be able to be uploaded to a website host, not to a server.

Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements. We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Looks like a good project. Is this for DnD or some such?

I can develop this in ASP or PERL, this quote is for ASP (as PERL would require *much* more time). The loggng feature requires a directory that the scripts can write to.

If you're interested in getting this done quickly and professionally, I'm your guy.

I can have this to you by next Wednesday, perhaps sooner.

If that sounds good, let's get started! I'll be around all evening. :o)
