Description:
A sizeable, highly graphical control, that takes a dataset and creates a map for each level, n, and object, i, within that level from given parameters (height, width, distance from origin, angle from origin, rotation to stage, colors, etc.) available from the dataset. This control will be used as a GUI component in both a standard Windows three-tier application, as well as a web site that will integrate with the data layer of that application. The purpose is to allow the end user, who should be assumed to be a technical neophyte, to move easily through each level (forwards and backwards), zoom and pan the map to view and select available objects. The selected objects are to be assembled by ID in an array, and made available as a property of the control. Standard maintenance functions should be included.
Preliminary information may be found at http://www.propagranda.com/mapping.htm
