The active X component is a charting add-on. The finished product should allow me to see realtime updating chart information, with the ability to visualize more than one graph component at the same time. These characteristics are already part of the active x component, therefore this should be a very simple coding project. Basically all that is needed is a link form the realtime data source to the visual basic ActiveX component and ensuring that all functions of the activex component remain functional in a realtime mode. I have developed several desktop-web integration/interaction utilities/tools that need to fetch data from the web to the desktop or need to post data to the web through the desktop. Your requirement is similar. Right? (Pls correct me if I am wrong). What I understand is that you want to continuously fetch the latest (current) forex figures from the web (I guess from http://www.oanda.com/rtrates). This fetched data would be the input to your existing ActiveX component which would show you the chart information. Thats all and nothing else. Am I right? Well, if that is what you are looking for then, I could do it for you. Hmmm... 24hrs is enough time for me to do it. With 3+ yrs of experience on VB/ASP to back me, I can handle this project.
