Classified Ad Software
I am looking for an ASP programmer to add the following features to a classified ad program. Basically, I am looking to make a percentage off of each successful item sale. For this percentage I intend to escrow the sale. Eventually, I wish to integrate this program in with a store front for new items. The classified add program should have fields for part number and manufacturer. (In the future those wishing to post ads may have to select from a list of manufacturers and part numbers.) Until then a separate program will work. Maybe I could buy one of the programs from asp.net and have the changes made. Xcent&'s classified program looks good. I am open to suggestions.
Example of how I wish the classified program to work.
1) Seller posts item and uploads picture. Buyer must not be able to see seller&'s contact or email information. City and country info is okay so freight rates can be quoted.
2) Seller enters sell pricing. The program automatically adds my percentage to the sell price. E.g. 5%
3) Buyer emails seller a question. This email is reviewed by the webmaster before it is sent on.
4) Seller emails buyer a response. This email is reviewed by the webmaster before it is sent on.
5) Buyer decides to buy. Webmaster collects payment from buyer and holds it in escrow until item is shipped, received and inspected.
6) Buyer returns to website and confirms that they have received the items in good order as per ad.
7) Webmaster deducts service charge/ percent and pays seller.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
