Description:
Danny the D.J. rents his services out for local weddings, birthday parties, and other local events. While Danny has a list of his own favorite songs to play at these events, he also takes requests. Sometimes these requests can get quite numerous, and he forgets to play some of the requests or plays them in the wrong order. His clients tend to get rather upset with him when this happens. Danny is worried that people will stop hiring him if he doesn&'t get organized.
Let&'s help Danny get organized. We will create an application called DJ Helper that will keep track of requested songs. It will then report which song is next to be played and remove it from the list. This is a perfect application to use a queue.
DJ Helper will have a simple option menu that will allow a DJ to choose which function they want the application to perform.
1 = Enter a requested song 2 = Get next song 3 = Quit
Enter option:
If option 1 is entered, the DJ should be prompted to enter a song title. Once the song title is entered, it should be saved in a queue. Make sure the queue does not fill up. Then the above option menu should be redisplayed.
If option 2 is entered, the next song should be served from the queue and displayed. If there are no more songs in the queue, a message should be displayed Then the above option menu should be redisplayed.
If option 3 is entered, the program should terminate.
You should implement your own queue. Do not include a queue header file. All of the queue functions should be implemented by you.
Feel free to add additional functionality, but this should be the minimum functionality of DJ Helper.
Extra Credit: For up to 10 points of extra credit you can implement a linked queue.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
