Description:
I have created an HTML stationary page for Outlook email. The issues I have with the page are as follows:
The header is an image with 'hotspots' for links to different divisions within the company. If you reply to the email, the hotspot borders show. I need to have a client-side CGI map script written so the hotspots are no longer needed.
I also need to figure out how to create tabbing in the stationary. For example, if you were to type in the 'To:' field, you can tab to the 'Subject:' field, but then if you were to try to tab into the body of the email, it would tab into the header image creating a mess with the email. I need to create another script to have it tab into the body of the email to a specific line.
This should not very hard and if I had time to learn CGI scripts or Perl, I could probably figure it out after awhile, but would gladly pay someone to get this code running right away.
The code will also need to be invisible if someone were to open this email within an email cient that does not use HTML format. The header image, footer image and scripting must default to text only.
I will forward the HTML file for the additional coding. The web host the company uses does not support server-side scripting, so it will all have to be client side. To see the stationary actually run, you will need to add the attached HTML file into your stationary to see the effects I am trying to achieve.

I can code such CGI for you (if it doesn't matter I will prefer php, but can code in CGI too). I saw your links in attaches that points into Cold Fusion scripts. I can produce code in Cold Fusion too. Also I am able to fix your html problems. Really I can't hide path to cgi script at all, because plain-text email viewers doesn't support any html (javascript at all). But I can code it in javascript so link will not be so visible and understandable.
I have all needed software installed at my home (Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape).
Thank you for attention. With best regards, Nicholas |
