Description:
Using System Analysis and design, and Visual Basics, HTML, and Java programming tools, you will design and create an interactive e-commerce Web Site the enables consumers to purchase goods and services over the Internet. In addition to modeling the system with SDLC, you are required to create a project plan and marketing Plan. The project plan identifies critical tasks, deliverable components, and deadlines for the entire project. The marketing plan identifies Internet models and strategies to be used in the Wed site development.
More details is presented with the attached ZIP file…..it includes a complete outline and data to complete the project.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
MARKETING PLAN DOCUMENT: -Includes a SWOT analysis chart for internal and external factors that affect Chestnut Sporting Goods. - Identifies and describes marketing and product objectives, target market, and marketing program strategies. - Identifies and describes the e-Commerce model and strategies to be used in accomplishing the plan. - Identifies how the site will accomplish the Internet marketing phases.
PROJECT PLAN: -State the goal of the project -Discusses project boundaries -Identifies and describes the required project components -Identifies and groups project tasks into phases, tasks and subtasks using a Gantt chart -Demonstrates task relationships using a Gantt chart
DESIGN DOCUMENT: -Identifies and explains entities, data elements, and database logic using a Data Dictionary and ERD. -Illustrates the system using a level 2 Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs) -Includes a hierarchy chart -Models all DFD processes using IPO charts -Includes Flow charts or pseudocode to supplement IPO charts
WEB SITE PROTOTYPE: -Satisfies the system design requirements -Illustrates graphic and text layout for each Web page
WED SITE PROJECT: -A text file that includes the e-Commerce Web site's directory structure -Diskettes a zip file named CSG_Website.zip that contains all Web site components including the database, client application, programmatic server-side components, help documents (HTML and WORD files), and any additional files required to run the e-Commerce Wed site.
Platform:
This project will need to run on Windows 98 Internet Explorer.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
-Microsoft Access -Microsoft Help Workshop 1.3 -Microsoft Internet Explorer -Microsoft personal Web Server (Server applications) -Microsoft Office Suite -Microsoft Project -Microsoft Visual Studio -Notepad or equivalent ASCII text editor -Microsoft Visio -Windows 95/98/NT
