I am launching my current website soon which is www.itopsite.com. It revolves around web marketing and advertising from basic search engine submission to aggressive, all-out advertising campaigns. The site that I wish to create to perform as a sister-site will be driven by the customers of the original site, iTopSite. The customers of iTopSite will be able to enter any information they'd like on their business, product, website, or whatever it is that they're trying to advertise and/or market. I am also offering a plan to clans of the game Counter-strike which offers the basic plan for much cheaper with the addition of being added to a gaming clan database as part of the new website. Other features of this second site include: 1) Priority advertising (which will cost something) to clients already involved in the site, while advertising on the site is available to anyone. 2) Database of all clients that is very flexible. Needs to allow the uploading of images and, possibly, allow for the creation of HTML files to create mini-pages (all web based) for the clients within the website. 3) Versatile functions available to clients, such as automated news postings, the creation and useage of individual mailing lists, and possibly other things (once they have been thought up...). It will basically be a website that promotes something and offers news information on it and it's producer, but instead, this will be not for an individual item but for as many as there will possibly be. The clan databse and the general database will have to be two completely separate things as they will be priced rather differently. I'm thinking that Perl and MySQL are all that's necessary for this project, but if you have a better solution, feel free to say as I'm open to ideas. I'm looking at a very small amount of time to do this. iTopSite.com itself is not finished yet as you'll notice the pricing page is very disorganized and bunched up, so please excuse the mess over there. I'd like to be able to have everything completed within two weeks if at all possible. I'm willing to pay around one thousand dollars (USD) for this project off the bat, more depending on what you can really do for me aside from what I've asked. Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form (if applicable) as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. Platform: I'm expecting that this can simply and easily be done in Perl using a MySQL database, so it is not exactly platform independent, though I am open to ideas on different languages and databases.
