Description:
We need a simple asp application that will pull data from an SQL 2000 server to create a monthly precipitation report. This application will include an administration form where and admin can add/edit/delete values from the database
Deliverables:
We would like a very user friendly application that is visually stimulating as it is functional. We need this coded in ASP and Java Script as needed. We have included a simple online demonstration for what we are looking for at http://www.miamiconservancy.org/precip-example1.asp There is some basic math for end of month computations however most is straight forward. The application allows users to enter daily precipitation values into an SQL database in a spreadsheet view. The example we have online is very similar to what we are looking for as far as functionality. We would like a "Printer Friendly" version so if a person what to print this monthly report they can do so without the text coming off the page. This report should be customizable so we can add/edit the code later to fit our needs. The Admin form should be pretty straight forward. It would be nice to have it fit one one page or be easily navigable so that the admin can find and edit a view very quickly. We would like the use of a Java Script type calendar feature to be able to query and edit the correct dataset ... again going back to user friendly. A user should be able to enter No data, 0 (zero), or T however Zero and T are calculated as a 0 integer for computations. if there are no values please display a dash -. We have further described what we are looking for on the web page example.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

We have gone through the information you have provided. We believe this project matches with the skills set and experience we have had in past.
We'd prefer to use ASP.NET as we just finished a project with it and found it's much better for development than asp. ASP Image will be very helpful for generate the jpg image.
We are new here and every project is a chance for us to build up our reputation.
