Description:
I have a set of ASPs that I am using for lead generation. Two of the ASPs need to be modularized to make them easier to modify plus some minor additional functionality.
1.Input Form ASP - This one does not need changing. This one has some Javascript validation/formating code. Some of the people that enter information do not have Javascript, so I want server-side VB Script validation/formating in "2. Add Data" improved to equal the current Javascript validation in this Input form.
2. Add Data ASP - This ASP currenly does some basic server-side validation that needs to be improved (see #1). After data validation, another step needs to be added... (compare the original email that was used to send the mailer with the one the user just entered, if the same then take same actions the are in "3. Verify")
After the validation, a HTML letter that is encapsulated in VB Script is send to the user. This encapulated letter needs to be greatly simplied so that modifications are easier. I am open to suggestions which are likely to break the letter up into several pieces (header, body pieces, end). This ASP also sends another email letter that notifies the person receiving the lead. This letter is very similar to the letter in "3. Verify" and needs to be combined in another module.
3. Verify ASP - This is an ASP that receives data and returns an image. The data is used to verify that an email was opened which means that the email exists, then the database is marked as "email verified", then an email is sent that notifies the person receiving the lead. This letter is very similar to the letter in "2. Add Data" and needs to be combined in another module.
4. Post ASP - The code for this module has been written and tested and now needs to be integrated with both 2 and 3 above.
5. Rotate ASP - This code is currently being written by RAC coder Gledson Bessa Rosa. Coodination will be needed with Gledson so that integration will be correct with both 2 and 3 above.
Again, there is very little new code and certainly nothing unique or difficult. I will be supplying new html ad copy that will be integrated. The primary purpose of this bid it to make the code to be made easier to modify for future email lead capture campaigns.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
ASP On Windows 2K - I will give you access to the destination server for testing.

Special Conditions / Other:
As you can see, I have already had a few projects, have a few out to bid and I have a whole string of them coming. I will use this small project to meet some new programmers that I hope to use in future projects.
I will be selecting the coder based primarily on how well you communicate your understanding of the project and ask questions. Speed of job completion is very important.
I coded most of the code that you will be changing, so I understand and will be able to throughly discuss it.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
