Description:
I'm looking for the vb code with which I can grab a recordset then fill a datagrid. I don't want to use any data controls. Also, no modules or complex procedures. The Whole project should be just a few dozen lines. I've included the type of code in the project attached.
I know this is pretty easy, I just need to essentially see how to populate a datagrid with a recordset.
The project should have a datagrid and a textbox. That is all for the sake of this project (I don't need any bells & whistles since I'm just using the code.)
When the user clicks on a grid row, the program needs to pull all data based on the msgID and put it in the textbox. Don't worry, or waste, time with appearance of the GUI, just throw all the text into the txt box as, again, I just want to see the code to populate and pull data.
Due to bad past experiences picking bidders who swore they could do it, then couldn't, I only pick bids from those who include a demo app (or code) that does the required task.

I've included the type of table and datagrid I'm using. (The password for the database is "a123".) I would like you to use the following code form as a basis to pull the recordset. The question is how to get the rs to populate the grid correctly, and set the columns to show only the To, From, Re, and Date fields.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
