Description:
We need a VB6 program that can find expired and on-hold domain names in realtime. It must be "superfast", have a great looking and easy to use GUI. When it got a list of domain names it should be able to run each domain name agains all the major search engines and directories like, AltaVista, MSN, AOL, Google, Excite, Yahoo etc... to find out if it already is registered w/ev position etc...
This info will then be used to generate a popularity report. The idea is if an expired domain still is registered on a major search engine, then the user can register it and setup a website that immidiately would receive some traffic. The better ranking in our popularity report, the more traffic the domain might receive.
The software will link to a domain register site, and also to a webhostings provider, so the user easy can both register and get web hosting if needed.

You should pick the best features and functions from these websites and software. I don't know if any or all of these can find expired domain names in real time, but we must be able to do it, and it's your responcibility to find out the best way to do this, and it must be fast and require as little resources as possible!

You MUST also be able to come up with ideas for features and functions by yourself to include to make this the "Best Software On The Market" in this category, extremely nice and easy to use GUI with full instructions and help on F1 for all functions/screens and commersial quality.
I'm also open for your suggestions and ideas as well as you should be open for mine to make this an outstanding product.
IMPORTANT: In your bid include your description and ideas how you can make this a top of the art application, and also when you can start this project and when you expect to have it done.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

You MUST have experience in creating this kind of software with a professional and commersial quality. Please submit links to previous project done in your bid so we can check out your abilities.
We also require you to send us source code prototypes several times a week so we can follow your work, and if needed ask for modifications etc ...
When project is 100% done and accepted by us, we will release the payment to you.
Sorry, NO advanced payment since we actually got burned here before by coders who could not finish and we lost both money and time!
We can discuss delivery deadline if you need more time!
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
