Description:
We are looking for someone/team with extensive Web site experience to educate us and provide consultation in design of professional web site thru either Yahoo IM or phone if bidder is located in US (We will call)
The consultant role is
To provide us enough information about web site in general for us to request bid on RAC intelligently.
Consult on the technology and the how to, and the not-to-do list.
Discuss the advantage/disadvantage on different subjects in Web design
Research required
Submit bid only if you have experiences design commercial sites which have at least functionalities listed below:
Beside the standard pages such as company, products, services, etc…, majority of the site consists of static pages with graphic with few dynamic elements.
Some of the functions to be include:
User Payment to be linked to third-party service
Question and Answer upon request
Flash or video file for demonstration with sound.
Create chart or graphic upon request
Site search
Future advertisement capability.
Certain dynamic displays.
Files download.
Simple mail or form request
User login and secure page for processing accounts
Chat room.
etc…
Others
Logo design
Color, templates
Features
Site registered with search engines, etc…
Deliverables:
Consultation through IM or Phone
Research materials if any.

Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Dec 31, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Special Conditions / Other:
This is consultation. We prefer the consultant advise us during the course of web developement.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

I am an expert in web-enable business, and commercial websites. I have over 8 years experience designing for the web, and over 6 years experience with web-enable business strategy, management, and best practices.
I have designed web applications and strategic directions for several companies and in several industries, including legal, healthcare, advertising, consumer finance, consumer goods, and government. Systems I have overseen include third-party payment, reporting, direct consumer response management, real-time customer service, and marketing aspects. I have been an engineer, a designer, a marketing director, and a CIO, so I understand the web from every possible angle.
I am bidding low because I have a belief in giving people the tools they need to use the web to their advantage. I have seen, over the years, too many good ideas, companies, and people fail because they had the wrong ideas about the web, and didn't approach their strategy properly. Of course, the bid would be much higher if you were actually asking me to create the site (which I could), but for information and help with a direction, that to me is more fun than work.
