Description:
I need VB6 code or a COM Object written in VB6 or C++ that I can incorporate into an existing VB6 project. The code or component will allow me to highlight text such as data fields displayed on a terminal emulation screen or DOS window using the mouse. I will need a way to then save these window coordinates(row, col) for later use. I then need additional coding to allow me to recall those coordinates and capture the text at those coordinates to a string variable at the click of a button control or other event. Contact me if you need additional explaination of what I'm looking for.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working procedures or COM Object as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Win 98, NT 2000 XP
Special Conditions / Other:
Open to fair suggestions.
I need delivery on or very near 9/16/2002

Please have a look at my demo.
Before run it, please open a dos console or any dos application.
Start my program. Select Dos title and specify the area of your console screen you want to capture(X,Y,width and hight) Specify a capture time (1-2sec)and click capture button.
'Select' button is not activated in thid demo. It shows you the way , how to select the area of your screen you want to capture. Please press this button and place your mouse cursor over your console. In a few seconds you see a cross with coordinates. Click left mouse button and select an area your are going to capture.
Please let me know if I am on the right way. I wrote this application a while ago and have to finish it to meet your requirements.
Regards
VladSoft
