Description:
1) I have an Access database that contains a table or a query that has several fields. The fields that concern this project are three fields: - ImageFile: contains the full path to the image location - NewImageName: contains the new name I need for the image
2) I want to take the file that is located by reading data from the “ImageFile” field copy it to a new folder.
3) I want to rename the copied file to the data from the field “NewImageName”
4) The program should prompt the user to select the database first. 5) It should prompt the user to select the table or the query that contains the data. 6) It should check for these two fields, make sure exsist. If they don&'t exsist then alret the user and ask him to choose another table or query. 7) Prompt the user to create a new directory where he wants. Show a standard windows select and create directory dialog box. 8) It then should do the operation mentioned in the step 2 and 3. 9) During step 8, it should show a little status reprort such as: Image 50 of 100 is being copiedImage 49 of 50 has been renamed 10) Ask user if he want to run another operation. - if yes then loop back to step 4 - if no then end and exit program

Super easy. I'll have this baby done within two hours or less from the time I get notice that my bid has been accepeted.
I've done alot of custom work, from Rent a Coder to many other clients. I am a professional and would like to assist you.
Program will be made in Visual Basic 6.0. I can make the project in .NET (using C# or VB) if you need me to.
As a programmer I want to help show others how to use VB to make powerful and useful applications. |
