Description:
To develop a web-based application for initiating, authenticating, and timing Netmeeting video chats.
Such an application already got a barebone structure which was written by Visual Basic 6 and used WINSOCK to connect two two programmes: one of the client and one of the performer.
The source code of such video chat application is available. Owing to the busy schedule fo the programmer, he was unable to complete the project. I wish to enlist assistance from a coder who could make the programmes work, todebug it and smooth it.
Deliverables: Deliverables: - a web-based application - be able to authenticate the chat sessions, to verify performers' and clients' identities - to frequently communicate with database for information on the users (e.g. to calculate the charges and token used) - to retrieve clients' token information from database - to retrieve performer's rate information (price/minute) from database - to time the session - to calculate charge - to deduct clients' token counts in database - to end sessions if token has run out, or connection is cut off - to remind clients of low token amount - to send charged amount back to the web site for calculation of performer's fees - to secure connection and encrypted data transfer to/from the web site - language independent, primary target: chinese audience
The databases have already been set up in php, so please focus on the programme I need.
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
in all 3.0+ versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Aug 25, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Special Conditions / Other:
It might be acceptable to smooth the programmes phase by phase, and I can accept constant revisions of the progammes. However, as I need it urgently, it is expected the Phase 1 should be completed within this week.
One month after the completion of the project (for at that time the programmes should be proved to be stable), an extra bonus amounted not less than half of the maximum bid (i.e. US$200) would be offered to the coder.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.
