Description:
Need an automated method to bring a Quickreport query into an Excel workbook .
The application I use has paradox tables which quickreport pulls several databases together for a printable or viewable report. These databases are overwritten with new information every time I execute a post procedure from the main application I am using . I want to archive this info into an Excel workbook.
There are several print database tables that hold the nesting info to print out. These tables are overwritten every time you do a new nest project.. That means that every time I print a report these databases are updated with the latest batch of numbers. I can supply the Databases with data in them and some Qr files that are used for the Quickreport reports that I print. I would like to have an Excel marco or Vba triggered by a dos bat file or Vb script that would pull in the info into a certain Excel worksheet. Or since Quickreport already has access to the database tables, a script or Sql can be used within the Qr file to transfer the info to an Excel worksheet.
Thanks Pathwire
Deliverables: Complete and fully ? The idea is to see if this can be done. Not to have it all done for me at least at one time. I would rather learn the example or process and apply it on a test scale.
