Description:
I need a class written in C++ that can store and retrieve arbitrary chunks of data. Each piece of data will be identified by two longs (a long indicating the type of the data, and a log indicating the ID of that piece of data). The data chunks should all be stored within one file, the structure of which is up to the coder (although I have a sample structure which I feel works well). Emphasis is on speed of reading, not writing. Any questions please contact me via the comment feature.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working code as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased. (Coder will be acknoleged in the credits of the final program)
Platform:
Windows, Mac, AND Linux (should use standard C functions only)
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Sep 9, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Hi jnet
I have seen your requirements and on behalf of Grid Technologies I assure you that I will do your work in best possible way.
One thing I want to know before starting your work is the source from where data chunk is to be retrieved, and also give me an example of the 2 longs when the data is retrieved.
Rest of the things are fully clear and the whole application is very small and it would not take more than 3-4 hours.
Hoping to hear from you soon.
