Using the results, which will include the date, start time, and end time, schedule each as a meeting in Palm OS's default calendar. A bonus feature would be a two-way conduit that also updates the web with the information scheduled on the palm conduit. The database is already developed. All I need from the conduit is to keep a username/password entered upon install and use that to send a query string to the DB (for example "palmOSread '08/12/2002', <username>, ") and then using the returned results from the query, enter each of the returned results into the Palm OS calander as a meeting. The bonus feature would also upload to the database using "palmOSenter ...<meeting details>..." for any meeting that is flagged for upload. I have to be honest with you, I have made 2 conduits and this will be my third. I have made Palm Apps for some time now (a little less than 2 years) and conduits are basically easier to build with the help of the new API's provided by Palm,Inc. I can make the one you ask for. If I understand your request, a conduit that will basically prompt for a username/password, Database name and execute a query that you would provide me with and make that as Palm OS calendar events with alarms if you want. I have extensive knowledge with the built-in Palm OS databases like Address Book and Date Book so this work will be a breeze. I would also pop in the two-way capability and I will scan the handheld for Datebook entries that start with any text you give me and generate queries to enter them to the SQL Database. I think I can finish it in two to three days for the initial testing and addition of the bells and whistles in 2 more days. I can make very polished software if given a day or two more. Hope you will consider my bid even if I am just new to this community (I don't have ratings yet.) But I can assure you the risk you take with me will be far worth it.
