Description:
We are looking to develop an e-commerce web site. We are not mom and pop, but not cash cows either. We are looking for something unique and different than common plane web sites. We want "life" added. (Please see details below.)

Deliverables:
We would like to see an intro page using flash, an option to skip flash and go directly to site. We want the site to stand out and have life. Using graphics, colors anything creative to enhance the look and feel of a “living web page” We want to CAPTURE the user&'s attention and pull them into the site. This requires a talented coder who has the skills to capture people. We know you are out there. The site would entail the placement of 250-300 items (including photos (sized properly) of perpetually rotating inventory. We are looking for those creative individual(s) who enjoy their work, yet can meet our tight budget. The site would contain a reliable internal search engine. We can give you the key words and what should be pulled up in the search. We would like to be able to edit the search and add key words in a user-friendly "plug and play." The site would further contain pictures of items for sale (we provide those photos) and the coder would create icons where users would be able to click on those icons for larger views. The site should contain links within the site such as if one wanted to see what action figures for sale, the user would be routed to a page that contained just the action figures and see icons with pricing info description, and a box to order in quantity (add to shopping cart). The same style would be done with other items such as Star Wars vehicles, and be able to separate the series: POTF (one grouping), POTJ (one grouping), Episode I (one grouping), and per other movies divided classified into action figures, vehicles, beasts, others. The site should contain a shopping cart and give users the option to "check out" using, "pay pal" or print their order to mail in money order or use Western Union (link) for payment options. We want the ability to edit content and photo "place holders" so we may directly update the site on a regular basis as inventory turns over. This should be easy for a non-expert, but one who has a decent understanding of tech stuff (but one who is not a coder). Program code should be user friendly, and not require the purchasing of special software or requiring a $ license/ fees. We would also like someone to design a mural on the home page using star wars-type scenery. Some movement is a big plus. We have basic sketch drawings of ideas we are looking for. Program should be tested and warrantee for errors for a reasonable period perhaps 90 days without additional cost. More info avail, and such would be discussed before work begins to insure agreement on both sides. Please - no bids submitted with the intent (passive or otherwise) in seeking out more $ for a project that we agree on in advance. E.g., "oh, a REAL e-commerce site is going to cost you X more;” or “if you want that, that wasn&'t in my bid. Please be very clear of what you will and will not do in you bid, and to what extent. Please include time frame willing to commit to the project. Make us happy. We expect a K.A. site. and looking for the talent who is up for the challenge. Thanks! PS Open to hosting, will be checking for host&'s reliability and viability. References are a plus. Please bid only if you have done this type of e-commerce web development before. Thanks again!

Hello Sir,
We went through your requirments for the website.
For the Flash introduction, since its going to be a site related to games..we can have a High tech intro with sound effects which stand out..flashing images of the charecters in the games would really suit we guess. Also music related to Star War games would be apt.Pleae let us know.
We will design a robust database so that the internal search for the site would be very fast..We also recommend a an ADVANCED SEARCH OPTION so that the user surfs through your site with ease.
Internal linking for the site would be easy.no worries.
We can definately create small icons for you on click of which the larger image appears with detailed description..We will create the Icons ae per the theme..if required in Animated format which again attracts the user.
Shopping cart with multiple selection facility and on check out integrating it with Payment gateway would be easy. We have already implemented 5 online credit card processing systems using different merchant servers like Verisign. Paypal, Thwate, Cybercash, Camtech etc..its not new to us.. Also the order to be printed and and then mailed is easy..
For editing the content and images we will provide you with a Admin module through which you can easily manage this..it would be easy navigation even for a NOVICE..
We are ready to sign the agreement with you before the stsrt of the project and also discuss the project specs in more details so that later on there is no confusion between us..
We have already implemented projects similar to yours.
