Description:
I need an Access Database application built that allows users to Add, Delete, Modify and run reports using logic from four tables. I will need a main form where the user can click on the desired function and make changes to one of the tables stated below. I have examples of what the forms should look like in the attached document. Also, I will need reports that totals records and group by certain criteria. I will also need the capability to export reports to Excel. The only problem with the exporting to excel is the records will be >65,000 and code will need to be written to accommodate exports of records >65,000 or Excel will not not allow the export. I wrote some code for this procedure but it needs to be adjusted. There are four tables (See below)in the Access Database that you will be working with. The user table is PSM and records can be Added, deleted and modify from this table. The rest of the tables are imported from the server and cannot be altered. I already started to develop this application and I have a sample DB that can be review. i attached additional specs to this document. Job pays $150 USD due Thursday 8/8/02 4:00 p.m. US Eastern Standard time

Hi There,
I have been using visual basic for quite some years now. I have gained expertise in various different areas, including database applications.
I can get this job done for you in no time, to meet your deadline. I have one question regarding the system. You mentioned that excel will not display 65000 records perhaps?? If you want I could export the data to a csv file. Excel supports csv files.
Here is a time-frame of your project:
Phase 1 Planning, analysis of specifications and requirements.
Phase 2 Coding of system to match full functional specifications.
Phase 3 Debugging, thourough testing, fine-tuning and beautifying of system.
The buyer will be consulted throughout the various stages of the development life-cycle. It is with such strong communication that satisfactory results are obatined.
I assure you that you will be 100% satisfied, all my previous clients have been. I have a quick turnaround. I am rated top 49 on the top coders list.
If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Regards,
Joshyy |

The actual data exported to the file will be any amount of data wished. The problem is that Excel displays up to 65536 lines. However if the file is opened as text all records are present.
A solution for this is either exporting to two different files, or else finding a way for excel to display more than the 65536 lines.
