I used FrontPage 2000 to develop and publish; however, my hosting service does not support FrontPage/web.bots for things like password protection, discussion web search functions and such (stability and security issues I'm told). The forum must be private so that I can keep track of who is saying what (ninth-graders will be ninth graders). Eventually, I will need to develop a sub web for posting grades too, and this too will need to be private/password protected for end-user access. But this is the next step. I have downloaded a PHP program for secure log-in from \planet-source-code that sounds like it would work, but I have no idea how to apply it to my sub web discussion forum web pages and test it out. Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s)in executable form (applied to FrontPage 2000 web pages and ready to be published), as well as complete source code of all work done. Solution must provide a means for me to administer user names and passwords (add, remove, edit, etc.), and confirm what registered user posted what article/comment.
