Description:
Need expert help on W2k DNS.
We have a fractional T-1. Another provider usually hosts our site, this provider don&'t host our DNS, because we going to drop them soon. I have another company to handle my primary DNS. How can I set up my own W2k server to be a secondary DNS? How can make reveres DNS lookup work on my domain name? Since I am going to hosting my own site, do I have to be a primary DNS?

Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

Complete copyrights to all work purchased.

Platform:
Windows 2K

Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:

Hello,

I have been maintaining, setting up and configuring dns servers for more than 5 years. I also have ISP experience so that might be handy.

I can guide and configure your DNS server for you.

Here are the two options:
i) you say you have a fractional T1. My question, is your connection _reliable_ ? If you plan to host your DNS server in your network, your internet connection should be reliable

ii) we use your win2k server as secondary from a collocated dns server or a third-party dns provider

I suggest the following:
i) multiple redundant setup of dns (primary and secondary on different networks, like primary collocated, secondary in your network). that way we minimize downtime problems

ii) tertiary dns service from free dns providers

The actual implementation of dns is very easy as long as we have all the administrative and planning done.

I'm available anytime to discuss your concerns.

I look forward to doing this project for you.

Froilan
