Hi,
I have 7+ years of Visual Basic experience under my belt. I have reviewed both products and came up with an application that surpasses both. The application I have in mind for you combines both products to a degree. The TreasureSoft application is by far a much 'smarter' and well developed application, but it lacks some of the basic functionality that the 321Collect software has to offer. For this reason, I would like to suggest to you an application with the look and feel of the TreasureSoft application(GUI, Browser, 10 pictures a record, autocompletes fields that you have used before, and reporting), combined with some of the personal functionality that the 321Collect software has to offer(customizing your own lables, the default templates that come with the application, and the ability to create new templates).
This application includes three phases:
1) GUI Phase:
This would basically be the shell of the program without any coding in back of it. As always, look counts as much as performance when dealing with these kinds of applications.
Time frame - less than one day.
2) Development Phase:
This is where the coding comes in. This program that I will hopefully be developing for you, would be tied in with MS Access 2002. THe end result would be a high performance collection application that would surpass all the others.
Time frame - 5-6 days maximum.
3) Final Phase - Beta Testing:
This would take just a day or two to test on all platforms and fix any bugs the application has.
Time frame - 1-2 days.
In addition to all of this, I will provide full time technical support, and free lifetime maintenance of the application. Would you like me to develop the GUI for what I have in mind?
Hope to hear from you soon,
Sam |
