Everytime the browser opens this addition must also be in the browser. WWW.lookjet.com is a searchengine. We want search box and our logo in the toolbar. We also want other links in the toolbar - and VERY important: we want to be able to change these links when we like (meaning it must be registrated on the server what links the bar contains). The toolbar must be a .exe file for users to install. Also we would like to be able to have a contest. Meaning that the more a user use the search feature in the toolbar: The more lottery tickets they get in a contest...... understand??? Explain to us how you think you can do the work. The setup for the bar is web-based but i can make an installation kit in InstallShield 6.1 witch will have a setup.exe file for installation. For the configurable links I propose to download an XML file from your web server or any text file witch contains, in a structured form, all the information needed for the 'Links' drop-down menu(this can be done using the downloader tool I provided in the attachement);I'll transform the download program to download directly to IE cache and then read the links from it (this will eliminate the write-protected directories). For the lottery tickets this is my point of view: when the user searches thru the bar I will send a parameter to the web server witch mean that is a 'bar-based' search, and the server will read a cookie to identify the user witch uses the search method from the bar menu and when you know the user and the search-method used you can assign to the user more lottery tickets.
