Description:
I need a clone (or something similar) to “BackupNow!” The trial version can be downloaded here: http://download.ntius.com/trials/ I do NOT need every feature this program has, but I do need the following:
Functionality:
1. Allow the user to select what they want backed up: a Volume, a Folder, or individual Files.
2. The app must give the option to use on-the-fly compression. (can be .zip or something else). Or no compression.
3. The app must be able to automatically support spanning across multiple CD-R/W. If backup size will exceed the space on one CD-R, the program should be able to prompt for another blank CD-R and continue.
4. The app should support incremental Backup. If they do a full backup on Monday --- on Tuesday they can backup only files that have changed.
5. The app should support “over writing” old backups if the user has CD-RW.
6. When Restoring, the app should allow the user to restore the entire contents of the backup, or Individual files/folders.
7. The app should be able to save parameters for different backup jobs. (e.g. which folders/files they want to backup, the compression settings, etc.)
8. The app must have some sort of scheduler/reminder. Can be a separate small program that will when Windows loads. Pop up a window that says “It&'s time to backup your files” and give an option to run the app.
9. The app should have a simple Explorer-like interface--- very similar to “BackupNow”.
10. The app should load language data files (text files) that allow us to add new languages (e.g. German, French, etc.) All caption and menu text should be loaded from one of these files on startup.
11. The app should support all popular CD-Writers.
12. The app should be written to allow easy updates to the list of CD-Writers it supports.
13. The app should run on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP
IMPORTANT:

1. Your experience with CD-Writing Software. (If you&'re able to list specific references, you will be given the highest consideration).
2. How long you think the project will take for completion.
3. How many days you will provide technical support once it is completed.
4. VERY IMPORTANT: Can you provide ongoing support for new CD-Writer Drives? If so, please quote your price for adding compatibility for new drives. You may quote per/drive, or you may quote a small monthly fee which we can pay you every month while we require your services.
Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.

Win 98, NT, Me, 2000, XP
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Oct 31, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
