Description:
The purpose of this project is to create a program that enters data into a website using the HHTP protocol and the POST method.

More specifically, I want to be able to access 2 different sites: http:///www.monster.com and http://online.wsj.com/home/us.

The program must be able to create a new account on Monster.com and input data on the screen that creates the account and also be able to establish a session with the site and insert a resume.
The code does not need to insert data in all screens necessary to insert a resume. But it has to log into the site and insert data in at least two more screens.

The code should work as if I insert the resume on Monster manually.

Your code should provide me with a data entry screen with the fields of monster.com - Create New Account page and then should be able to call the site, create a new account and either email/me or display my new username/password

On the WSJ site I need code that logs on to the site and retrieves an article to a text file. I am a WSJ subscriber and will furnish username and password.

I have tried to do it myself using ASP, and the ASPHTTP component. My code did not work, because I was unable to setup the headers properly. My code is attached to the bid form.

I am open to the usage of other server-side scripting languages, or the use of Visual Basic or other language/technology.

In order to be considered for this project bidder has to provide an URL that displays a form that collects data that I type and meets the requirements above.

In order for your bid to be considered it is mandatory that you provide an URL with the code working. Of course I will not have access to the source code until your bid has been accepted.

On your bid please specify which technology you intend to use : ASP, ASP.net, VB or Visual C++ ?
Also specify if you need to use any third party component.

Deliverables:
The MAIN deliverable of this project is the source code AND copyrights.

Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

Complete copyrights to all work purchased.

First Time bidders and experienced bidders/programmers have equal chances of getting this project. As long as you provide me with a live example showing me that your code is able to meet the requirements you will be considered for the project.

This is the first of several requests. My goal is to establish a partnership with a qualified developer in order to work together in several projects.
If winning bidder provides quality product, He/She will be considered for additional projects and even possibly a full time opportunity in the USA (If the bidder has interest in working here)

Feel free to email me at with questions and/or requests for clarification.

Platform:
I tried to create a solution using ASP and a component called ASPHTTP from http://www.serverobjects.com.

If you know a better/faster/easier way to accomplisht the same thing with a different language/technology, I will certainly consider it.

Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Jun 28, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.

Special Conditions / Other:
The "example" URL described in the requirements is how you prove that you are able to meet the requirements.

Additional Files:
This bid request includes IMPORTANT additional attached files. Please download and read fully before bidding.

Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements. We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

(Excellent)

I have already completed two projects locally doing this using C#, however, I have to say that it requires at least 3-4 hours of research per site, with packet snifferes, etc, just to determine what needs to be sent and recorded. As such I could not complete the project within the maximum cost you have specified.
