Description:
Hello All, I'm a student trying to learn Visual C++ on my own. The book I'm using has many examples to learn from, but no solutions to double-check your work with. This is a relatively simple one... *** Write a program in Visual C++ to do the following: Display a menu bar with the following choices displayed horizontally:
Play Scribble Exit
When the user clicks on the Play menu, a drop-down menu shows "Solitaire" as the menu item. When the user clicks on this menu item, the Solitaire.exe game is launched from the windows directory.
When the user clicks on the Scribble menu, a drop-down menu shows "Mouse Doodling" as the menu item. When the user clicks on this menu item, a new dialog box appears on the screen. This dialog box shows four colour buttons, Red, Blue, Green and Black and a fifth Command button that exits the dialog and returns to the Main dialog. The user will be able to draw, scribble freehand .. anything, in each of the four colours.
When the user clicks on the Exit menu, a message box should display the message "Are you sure you want to exit? y/n" and two command buttons. The first command button (Yes), will terminate the program. The second command button (No), will display another message box with the message "Thank you for not exiting...". ***
Thank you, Ash
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working application in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Hopefully one of you more experienced coders can help out a newbie. Please bear in mind, I'm just a student, so I can't really afford to pay much in return for your help.
Platform:
MS Visual C++ 6.0

No real deadline, the sooner the better though, so I can continue learning.

Hello Ash,
You can have it in a couple of hours, written by all the 'goood programming practices' rules and commented as if for a school book so your grandma would figure out what's going on. I take it I don't need to record and save mouse strokes as Scribble demo does?
I'm pretty good with those small & quick jobs - see my ratings and what other buyers told about me. |
