Description:
Graphs of security levels
Write Java code to implement a general access control of the type described below. You need to consider what data structures to use and it may be helpful to look at a book on algorithms and data structures. One possibility is to use the adjacency matrix of the graph. The following list some suggests some operations that the code should be able to perform:
1) Insert new subjects, objects and directed edges. 2) Delete subjects, objects and directed edges. 3) Check to ensure that the graph does not have cycles. 4) Given an object and subject determine whether the subject has access to the object.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Windows 98, Java v1.4

Hi there,
Your project caught my interest. I have used Java to work on similar problems for my fundamental and advanced data structures classes.
I examined your document. Are there other functions that you want the class to implement? Please let me know to enable me to place an appropriate bid.
Thanks and I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi again,
I have had opportunity to use Java 2 to work with graph implementations and adjacency martices.
My code will be well tested and appropriately commented. Of course, it should not present a major problem, delivering your finished template on time.
Best Regards, Alex Bendig |
