Description:
I need to program a MS Access database to schedule appointments for several employees and track clients. I have a little MS Access experience and need to have the basic steps outlined to set up the calender portions of the project. I think I can do the programming with enough research but I need a few steps outlined to be able to create the forms to set the scheduling part to work. For instance the calender Active X component is cool but it seems to only have a monthly view. We need to schedule by week. I need the concept to be laid out so that I can create the forms for the weekly input. And how to arrange the storage, retreaval, checking of schedules.
The database is for a driving school. The schedule will be for students of the driving lessons. It will schedule instructors and students appointments. The database must accomodate 3 Instructors and hundreds of students. I have set up the database with forms to get the students and instructors into the system. Now it has to have forms to make and track the appointments of the students. Eventually this will be ported to ASP so that scheduling can be done through the internet without user intervention on our part.
Deliverables: Examples of some source code of scheduling.
Complete Psudo code list of the programming to get a functioning calender that displays weekly views of an employee schedule.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
VBA for MS Access XP, Windows 98
