Description:
Can you build a simple timer program
> for me to use on my computer to control access.

Deliverables:
Windows based program to run on Win 95 98 that controls access to
a stand alone computer station with dial-up access to the internet.
It should present an opening login screen
1. ask for a pin number
2. compare the pin number with a 500 record table of available pin numbers.
Each pin in the table is associated with a time value (default=30 min)
3. subtract time used from the associated time field in the table
4. Dynamically update time field each minute, subtracting time until time = 0
5. Allow for user log out which stops time, closes dial-up connection
and resets computer or..
6. At time expiration, Prompt for new pin number and contiune or
shut down internet connection.
7. reset computer for next session.
8. Update a log file at end of each user session showing pin used, computer used and time used.
9. FTP or log file to our FTP site or in someway transfer the log.
Credit Card option
10. Possible addition of credit card option rather than pin number.
This would require a selection box on login screen, for to accept name,card type, exp date, card number
and would use a separate table with fields for each of above
plus field for time used.
Program will calculate charges by multiplying time used value by
rate value which will be held in some config file, accessible by admin
It would be necessary to print a charge amt to screen after log out
Saying, your credit card will be charged _____ amt.
