Description:
I am looking for someone who can show me how to pull finished auction information from ebays servers and put it into a Access database. I am a ebay seller who has developed an Access application to create, manage and list my auctions. Currently I am doing alot of cut and paste to get my winning bidder info into my app and it is very time consuming. I'd like to be able to just click an update button and have it connect to ebay, login, retreive finished auction with winning bidder emails and parse it into a table. A formatted text file or an excel file would also be acceptable. You must have your own ebay username and password for testing this because I'm not going to give mine out. The code can have a place for me to hardcode my id/pass, promt for login info or read from a table. I've seen a million programs for sale that do this automatically but there is no way for me to get the code. Any help would be appreciated even some info pointing me in the right direction. Is HTML parsing a possibility?

Deliverables:
It can be deisigned for Access 97,2K or XP.

Platform:
WIN98, WIN2k, WINXP

Hello. I have had much experience with html parsing and VB. I'm also an ebay member. I have a question about the scope of this project.

Do you want the program to just put the data into text or excel format, or would you want it in your Access database automatically? I could help you do either or.

Any other features you would want integrated into the program?

I'm just trying to get a feel for all you want done. Did you just want an example so you could do it yourself, or did you want a coder to do the work for you?

Did you try the code I sent you? It should give you an idea how the parsing is done. I can comment the code in detail if you would like. Please let me know.

Thank you.
