Description:
I want a program that will attempt to analyze a large MP3 file (an album, for instance) and detect the breaks between the cuts or tracks.
The program should then save each cut/track as individual MP3 files, preferably with a CRC code, with sequential names... CUT1, CUT2, CUT3, etc.
The original long MP3 should not be damaged.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Win 9x, 2000, NT
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Jul 15, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.

If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Hi, I have extensive knowledge of the internal format of mp3 files, so I can implement this without degrading the resulting mp3s, i.e. the mp3s are not reencoded. But the output mp3s will not have crc codes unless the original did (or if they are reencoded with crc codes on). The track detection may not be perfect, but it would be configurable so that the minimum length of silence between tracks can be specified. One other thing, it would be done as a .dll in c++, but interfaced with visual basic. I may consider lowering the bid price if you have a better offer than this.. Thanks, Martin |
