Description:
I am a web designer who is looking for ocasional help with coding. Usually javascript,etc... If you know advanced Flash that could be very helpful for the future.
Currently,I have built a site with frames. On the nav bar I have designed a search, that needs to load in the main frame instead of the frame.
The search was originally built in Front Page and when I coppied the code it didn't work.I would like for that code to be taken out and fresh code put in.
I would also like if you can explain how to make a search for future sites.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Fully Commented code
Must explain the code for my future use.
Platform:
Windows XP", "in all 3.0+ versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape"
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Jun 5, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Hi Suzy,
Unfortunately, I'm in the Eastern time zone, but to get your search to work correctly, you need to put something like -- target='targetframe' -- in the form tag.
Searches are most easily done when you have a database driven site, but if you have a static site, there are several free scripts out there for searching within a site.
If you ever need any help with advanced Flash - such as actionscripting or using XML data or connecting it to a database, please keep me in mind.
Thanks,
