Description:
The specifications for this project are attached in a 9 page word document in table format.
I would ask that you do your best to estimate the project, and then add 10% to the amount you bid to cover things that I have forgotten that are not in the spec. I don't anticipate any more than 10% change, however.
I would also ask that you add another 10% to 20% to cover bug fixes. This is a fairly large project, and there are sure to be bugs. I plan to only approve 80% of the work at completion, and hold back 20% until 30 days after completion. You will be required to fix anything that does not match the specification (or up to 10% changes from that as documented in rentacoder.com comments) within the 30 days. Once fixed, the remaining 20% will be released.
Significant progress must be shown every week. In addition we require a status report every week. We must be able to log on to your web server and view progress every week, or you will not be meeting our requirements.
This project will required communication between you and me. It will not be a bother to answer many questions. In fact, I will be worried if you don't ask lots of questions.
Please don't bid on this unless you have experience working in ASP, SQL Server, and medium to large projects.
Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
IIS 5.0, win2k Server, SQL server 7, IE 5.1+
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Jul 15, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Special Conditions / Other:
I would like this project much sooner than 7/1, but I don't know how long it will take. Please provide a time you can finish, but be reasonable so you will hit it, and I won't be disappointed. In any event, it must be complete by 7/15/02.
