Description:
This project was not finish by the last bidder. I need a sharp VB programmer to complete the project for me. I will need this by next 5/30/2002 next Thursday. Some parts of the program is working.
The program already use win api to create a set of target folders from my foxpro dbf. The folder will nest according to the source dbf file. The dbf will get updated from time to time. New target folder will get created or discontinued according to the dbf file. This part is already working. You can check for me also.
The part I need to finish is cut and paste files (move & delete) from a source folder to the target folder. The rule is match part of the file name to the folder name. For example, I have target folder names of COMPMEM, ARTS, this folder can be 3 to 5 levels deep, and my source folder will have

The program will move the file to folder according to the file name (prefix) not counting the 001.jpg, 001a.jpg, 001t.jpg, 001i.jpg, 001s.jpg. There will be chance the file name will not have 001, 002 in them. Please allow for these file name variations.
The file can be these file types .jpg, .gif, .psd, .pdf ... also.
This is a batch process, which I will run from time to time, as I update the dbf. As the dbf get update the target folder will get updated. Moving source files to the target folders according to the rule will be on a daily basis.

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
