Description:
I am currently unable to print pictures at greater than 72dpi via a VB program. I require up to 1200 dpi using mainly jpg, but should allow for others (bmp etc.)
Deliverables: Some source code to read a graphics file, and print this file to set coordinates on a page, reducing the picture in size where necessary whilst retaining resolution. Picture included would need printing on the right of a landscape A4 (i.e as per greeting card) **picture couldn't be sent - will send a picture later (or use your own?) ***To clarify all this -All the images will be the samesize or larger than the print area - no enlargement required nor increase in DPI. If it makes it easier, I can ensure all images are same size as print area, and can also convert from jpg (as long as I can do this in PhotoShop) All I want is some code to read an image (can hard-code the filename in the program) and print to given co-ordinates, retaining the resolution of the original. When I try this, I just get a black box on the page. If the above only takes a few lines of code - OK by me. ***

for this bid amount I will give you a function that will print the first photo on the printer, the arguments will be the filename, x, y, h, and w of the area of the printer that the photo is to be printed on, with a optional argument that is a flag, that if it is true will print the photo on the printer using the first color bit of the photo as a tranparent color. this will allow you to put one photo on top of the second photo and have the effect that I think you are looking for. It will be your responsablity to make sure that the transparent color is not in the photo in places that you do not want to be transparent. let me know if this is what you are looking for.
P.S. a hidden image or piturebox may be used, but the outcome will be as discribed |
