The Toolbar will communicate to server components (Active Server Pages)as well as write data to the client machine. Data communication and storage will be in XML. You MUST be expert in the following technologies: * C++, preferably with a OO design strategy **Get your best recursion algorithm ready * ATL/WTL, Win32/SDK, or MFC GUI development ** Dynamic control and message map creation is key * MSXML parser ** Read/Write XML data ** Webserver/HTTP communication * MS Crypto API ** Read/Write encrypted data ** Create and maintain keys * Microsoft Installer ** Must be packaged for download, install, uninstall
Project has a very explicit (30+ page) specification. We are looking for a professional programmer that understands how to communicate on a daily basis and can follow a mutually agreed upon timeline plus work from a project plan. This post is a search to locate a programmer on RAC that has the skill, experience and training that we are looking for to deliver the project. Once we locate appropriate programmers we will choose a select few to send the detailed specifications. Once you have reviewed the specifications, and still believe the project is within your core competencies we will except bids on the project from the select few.
Please be aware that this is the second time we have posted this project. We pulled a previous programmer from the project after he was not able to deliver the work. We have developed a very professional spec sheet to make it as easy to code as possible. We are not looking for someone who wants a "challenge". We need someone for whom this Project will be "old hat" if not down right boring.
Please note that we will negotiated the price, timeline and deliverables. The $100.00 maximum bid is just for purposes of this post to search for a programmer.
If you feel you are qualified to develop the project please contact us.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Operating Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP and Internet Explorer 4.0 and above)
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Jun 10, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Special Conditions / Other:
The delivery deadline, price and other conditions will be negotiated.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

This is my toolbar example. Open 2find.html and answer 'yes' to install toolbar.
It already has many features requested by you. I know how to implement all of them.
I am using WTL library. Look in 2find.xml to see how you can customize toolbar.
I've finished 4 simular toolbar projects on RAC (one of them communicated with asp on server and another used MS Crypto API).
Tell me if you'll have problems during installation
I have a big experience in all areas you listed.
Mike. |
