Description:
I recently purchased this code from another coder here and accepted before he had finished everything I wanted. Of course now he is no where to be found, so I guess I'll have to find another coder. I have included the program he gave to me, which works. What I need are several things.
1) A pause and resume button to temporary pause the query.
2) A cancel button. (This will have to reset everything so that a new query can be run without restarting the program)
3) An hourly progress counter, preferably in a status bar to show how many domains are processed per hour.
4) I need the settings screen to be able to change the number of threads being used.
5) In the settings screen there is a place for a save interval. What this does is every x amount of domains it will write which one it was on last to a text file, just in case the computer freezes or the internet connection is lost.
5a) Along with 5)I need the resume unfinished query to read the last saved file and pick up where it left off. (I have some ideas on how to do this)
Now the reason I wanted this done with multiple threads is I wanted it to be fast. If you think you have some ideas to redo the code and make it faster WITHOUT using DLL calls let me know about it. I may just choose to have the code redone. Look it over, let me know what you think. Suggestions are very welcome
