If the username they select is taken, I want my script to suggest an available username for them to try. My database contains these two usernames: "suzie", "suzie1" When a new user tries to register with username "suzie", I want my script to suggest using "suzie2". So far with my script, when I try to register with "suzie", it suggests using "suzie1", which is already in the database. Then, when I try to register with "suzie1", it suggests using "suzie11" instead of "suzie2". Attached are my database and full page source code.
