CLARIFICATION COMMENT(EMBEDDED IN UPPERCASE), 5/12/2002 12:31 PM...
Need to have my vb6 project do fairly simple INTERACTION with embedded internet-eplorer
(probably using the webbrowser control).
basically logging on to a website from vb.
i do not have a site for you to test it on,
you need to use a sight that does something
similar(most do).
Using vb code and api's(no c), preferrabbly using
the webbrowser control, i need to:
1) open a viewable web page with a hardcoded URL.
2) there are userid and password controls
on this web page.
a) the userid and and password fieldnames can
be hardcoded.
b) fill these fields with hardcoded userid and
password using vb.
c) push the <go/signon> button on the webpage,
from vb to signon. the button fieldname
can be hardcoded in vb.
d) wait for refresh,
you can assume success.
once that is done, there is only one more thing i need to know:
there is a tabbed interface on this IE screen. i know the fieldname for the tab. how do i select one of the tabs from vb? SPECIFICALLY, I PUSH A BUTTON IN VB AND IT SWITCHES THE WEB PAGE TO A DIFFERENT TAB.
Deliverables:
Fully-functional, non-documented, vb project, just source code. Userid's and passwords can be changed to xxxxxx for userid and yyyyyy for passwords.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.

this might be very simple to you,
to me it's days of research,
a quick turn-around would really help me out.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
